Sept. Book Club

The book for this month is "Talk to the Hand: The Utter Bloody Rudeness of the World Today, or, Six Good Reasons to Stay Home and Bolt the Door" by Lynne Truss. As the title suggests, it's about manners, but not in a "do this, don't do that" sense. It's more of a commentary on society and the state of good behavior. I make it sound incredibly boring, but it is actually hilarious and very British. :)

There are quite a few copies available from the library, although I checked out the two from Nampa, so you'll have to put one on hold unless you want to go to Boise. It's a fairly quick read (barely 200 pages). There is one swear in the very front of the book, but if you skip right to page one, you'll be in the clear.
