I think we can all say that we had a great time at Jessica's last night. Thanks for the discussion and the fun. (LUV the spinach dip.) To the girls who missed the event, our next book is "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens. If you don't have a copy of the book, its available online because the copyright expired. Just type in "A Christmas Carol" and it'll pop up somewhere.

Don't forget our temple trip on Thursday, Nov. 29. We want the 7 p.m. session so be there on time. Let's definitely carpool, for those in Nampa.

Announcing November's book '07 TWILIGHT

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer will be the book of the month for November. Copies are available so ask around. We'll meet Nov. 15th at 7 p.m. at Jessica's.

See you in a month.

October '07 Dr. Franklin's Island

Dr. Franklin's Island by Ann Halam was the book of the month. This sci-fi/adventure thriller was loaded with ethical questions, which we discussed over autumn treats at Angie's house. Three teens stranded on an island are kidnapped by the evil Dr. Franklin and turned into mutated monsters. Can they escape?

We know, because we read the book.
